Just barely a week old, he was found all alone on the side of the road—no mom, no littermates, just a tiny, helpless puppy struggling to survive. He was rushed to the veterinary ICU, placed in an incubation bed, and given round-the-clock care. He fought with everything he had. And against all odds, he made it.

Now, at one year old, Pickles has grown into a fun-loving, goofy, and affectionate boy who truly embraces life. He’s a Pitbull mix with a whole lot of personality, blending traits from Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Boxers, and even Great Danes! But the best thing about Pickles? His heart.

This social butterfly adores his dog friends and isn’t shy about letting you know it—he’s got plenty to say! He’s ridiculously smart, picking up commands like sit, stay, off, and fetch in no time. He’s kennel-trained, accident-free indoors, and will happily follow his humans from room to room just to be close. Outside, he’s a playful goofball who loves a good game of chase, but inside? He’s the ultimate cuddle monster.

Pickles did suffer from some neurological damage early in life, likely due to an unknown illness or injury in the time he was left alone on the side of the road. While he doesn’t let it slow him down, he needs a home without stairs and a family ready to give him the love and care he fought so hard for. He may be prone to arthritis as he ages as well, but with the right home, he’s expected to live a long, happy life filled with love and adventure.
