Meet Timber, affectionately nicknamed “Tim Burton” by his foster family for his dramatic tuxedo coat, piercing glacier-blue eyes, and expressive, movie-worthy face. Originally rescued from Texas, Timber has been learning that the world is a safe and loving place. He’s still working on leash manners, potty training, and crate training, but he’s making steady progress every day with patience and gentle guidance.

Timber loves other dogs and kids, and quickly bonds with women. Though he can be nervous around men at first, he’s shown that with time and trust, he can form strong, loving bonds—he’s now completely comfortable and confident with his foster dad!

He’s still learning about cats and will need time, structure, and a dedicated owner to help him learn to coexist peacefully with them. Once Timber feels secure, his personality shines through—he’s a snuggly, affectionate shadow pup who loves to be close to his people and gives the sweetest cuddles.
