Tungsten is a smart, strong, playful boy with a goofy side. He loves fetch, tug-of-war, and chewing on bones. He’s also cuddly when he wants to be and enjoys being near his people. He’s very tolerant of toddlers, totally unfazed by kid chaos, and happily joins in when they run around. He gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and loves roughhousing with his sister and keeping up with his 1-year-old Lab foster sibling. He hasn’t met a cat yet, but because he’s young, he can learn to live with them if introduced properly. Tungsten has a medium-to-high energy level. He enjoys playing, running, and daily activities but settles nicely after getting his energy out. He’s learning leash manners, enjoys being outside, and loves running and playing in the yard. He rides well in the car and is always up for an adventure. His favorite things include playing fetch, tug, and chewing on bones. He’s very food-motivated, which makes training fun and easy. Tungsten sleeps through the night without any issues. He has no accidents in his kennel, and if pee pads are available, he’ll use them when he needs to go. He knows “sit” and is working on his manners and impulse control. He’s kennel-trained, well on his way with house training, and picks up new things quickly. He doesn’t show any major fears and handles loud noises, new environments, and children’s energy very well. He’s curious with strangers and warms up quickly. Tungsten would do well in many types of homes—active families, homes with kids, or homes with other playful dogs. A yard would be great for him, but he would also do fine in an apartment with enough exercise and enrichment. With his sweet temperament, playful energy, and quick learning, Tungsten is a wonderful mix of fun and affection. He’s a special boy who will make an amazing addition to a loving family.
