KARL’S CANINE KREW
FOSTER SPOTLIGHT

Karl’s Canine Krew is proud to be a 100% foster based rescue, and we have the best fosters around! To celebrate our paw-some foster families, we will be “spotlighting” a new foster each month!

MEET THIS MONTH’S FOSTER SPOTLIGHT!

TAYLOR AND FAMILY

Meet Taylor and her amazing family! Taylor is originally from Michigan and met her husband while he was going through navigator training at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX, for the United States Air Force. They have three kids: Marcus (12), Lia (10), and Autumn (5). As a military family, they’ve called Colorado Springs home for their fifth move. Taylor and her family are proud pet parents to two rescued mixed-breed pups, Tucker (3) and Honey Loo (2). They love exploring new activities around town and embracing the great outdoors with hikes, runs, biking, camping, sledding, swimming, and everything in between!

Some Quick Facts about Taylor:
Q: How long have you been fostering?
A:  I started fostering for the first time in 2017 at a rescue in California where we were stationed at that time. Our first time fostering for KCK was July 2024.

Q:What made you want to become a foster family?
A: I've always loved dogs and caring for them seemed to come so naturally. I wanted to help the community in some way and the best way I know how is to help dogs.

Q:What is the hardest part about fostering?
A: The hardest part about fostering is getting attached and having to let them go, trusting they're going to continue to thrive and be happy in their new home.

Q: What is the best part about fostering?
A:The best part about fostering is providing a fun and loving environment that allows our foster pups to be happy, confident and healthy. Seeing them grow into their best selves is the greatest reward.
