MIRIANA
Miriana has been fostering dogs for the past six months, beginning her journey in June with Bennie, who was later adopted by her sister. She chose to foster because she wanted to help more dogs, believing that by fostering, she could make a bigger impact than by adopting just one. While the hardest part has been saying goodbye to the dogs once they find their forever homes, the most rewarding part is knowing that they are going to be loved and cared for. Originally from Mexico, Minirana’s family moved to Denver over 30 years ago, and she has lived in Colorado Springs for the past two years. She’s also a proud dog mom to three wonderful rescues—Buster (13 years old), Dave (12 years), and Charlie (10 years)—all adopted from Denver. Her favorite thing to do is simply be at home with her dogs, enjoying their companionship while knowing she’s making a difference in the lives of many more dogs through fostering. Minirana’s journey has been deeply fulfilling, and she is grateful every day for the opportunity to give these dogs a better life.
