WHERE DO YOUR ANIMALS COME FROM?
Karl’s Canine Krew partners with shelters locally in Colorado as well as out of state shelters and rescues located in New Mexico, Texas, and Kansas.
-
DOES IT COST ME ANYTHING TO FOSTER?
The only thing it costs to foster is your time! We provide all supplies and medical care for animals that you welcome into your home! For more information on fostering, click here.
-
WHERE CAN I MEET ADOPTABLE ANIMALS?
Karl’s Caine Krew is a foster based rescue, and we do not have a single facility where you can meet animals that are available for adoption. All of our animals are currently being spoiled in their foster homes, and after your adoption application is approved you will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet with the animal listed on your application. We do occasionally host adoption events, and details on those can be found here, or our Facebook.
-
CAN I PUT AN ANIMAL ON HOLD?
Unfortunately, no, all of our animals are adopted on a first come first serve basis. Adoptions can be made by meet and greets through our adoption coordinators, or you can meet our animals at adoption events!
-
DO YOU ADOPT OUT OF STATE?
Karl’s Canine Krew does not typically allow out of state adoptions, and we currently do not have the capabilities to travel out of state. However, if we believe a potential adopter is a perfect fit and is willing to travel to have a meet and with the animal we may approve the adoption.
-
HOW LONG IS THE ADOPTION PROCESS?
The Karl’s Canine Krew adoption team works hard to have all adoption applications processed within 72 hours. However, the adoption process itself can take from days to weeks. This can be due to a number of things from your first choice not being the best fit for your lifestyle, or a reference on your application not returning contact to us.
