He’s medium-to-low energy and so well-behaved in the house — no accidents, and he even whines to let you know when he needs to go outside. He’s amazing with cats and does great with other dogs once he’s had a little time to warm up. He prefers calm companionship over chaos, but every now and then he’ll join in for a short play session before heading back to nap mode.
Dexter can be a little timid with quick movements, but he’s getting braver every day. He’s learning that car rides aren’t so bad when they end with peanut butter, treats, and extra pets. He whimpers for just a moment in his kennel, then sleeps soundly through the night unless he needs to go potty.
He’s great with kids and loves snuggling up for movie time. Dexter’s also a surprisingly chill companion in public — he’s been to neighborhood brewery bingo nights, happily chewing his yak stick before curling up for a nap right in the middle of the crowd. He’s happiest just being near you, whether that’s hanging out at home or tagging along for a low-key outing.
