Don’t let the tough-guy name fool you — this sweetheart is equal parts pro cuddler and playful powerhouse! Brutus’s love language is snuggling with his people; he absolutely loves to curl up and soak in all the affection after a day full of play. When he’s not busy being your cuddle buddy, he’ll happily wrestle, chase toys, and burn off his big puppy energy.

Brutus is crate trained and sleeps comfortably in his crate at night or while people are away. He’s very food motivated, making him eager and excited to learn new things (and he really enjoys training sessions!). He already knows sit, touch, and leave it, though we’re still working on making these reliable commands. While he enjoys being close to his humans, he doesn’t like to be carried—he’d much rather wiggle his way into your lap or snuggle by your side on his own.

This sweet boy currently lives with a cat. True to his puppy nature, he’s tempted to play and will happily chase if the cat runs. If the cat is out of reach, Brutus might whine and occasionally bark—he sees feline friends as great playmates since they’re closer to his size.

Brutus is great with kids and thrives in a busy, loving home environment. He is regularly going potty outside when he has open access, but he's still learning to let his humans know when he needs to go out. He’s putting in the effort on potty training and is learning his manners like a smart little guy. With consistency and patience, Brutus is sure to grow into a loyal and well-mannered companion.
