Hi, I'm Jelly!
Some dogs walk into a room and announce themselves. I take a different approach. I'll hang back just long enough to read the room — and then, with some time I'm all in. Once I decide you're my person, I mean it. I'm the delicate flower of my litter: soft, sweet, and happiest when I'm curled up close to someone I love.
And I do love cuddles. With people. With other dogs. With anyone who will sit still long enough to let me lean in. I'll be right there beside you, checking in with a nudge that says, hey, any chance for a belly rub while no one's watching?
Mid-play, I'll pause just to find my person in the crowd. Not because I'm anxious — I just like to stay connected. That little check-in is pure Jelly: steady, sweet, and always aware of where my favorite human is.
When I really love you, you'll know. I have a special way of showing affection called cobbing — I'll pull back my lips and gently nibble with my front teeth, like eating corn off a cob. It's not a bite. Think of it as a hug with teeth. It can feel a little like a small pinch, but it simply means I adore you.
I've been working on sit, down, touch, off, and leave it — the building blocks are there, and consistency is still coming. A calm, patient home will help me put it all together. I'm a smart girl who catches on quickly when someone takes the time.
Potty-wise, I know outside is the right place to go. I'm still learning to signal when I need to head out, so a good routine goes a long way. At night, I settle into my crate without a fuss and sleep through until morning.
I currently live with a cat and barely give them a second thought — if I do notice, it's a quick, friendly sniff and I'm back to my own business. No chasing, no pouncing, no drama.
If you've been waiting for a gentle, cuddly girl who just needs a moment to say hello before she becomes your shadow, I think that might be you.
