Colby Jack is a spunky toy fiend with a face like coffee cake ice cream (but sweeter). She wants to be glued to your side at all times, especially when sleeping. Her energy perfectly reflects her likely pit bull and beagle heritage.

CJ plays very well with her older, larger foster brother and other dogs. She is still learning leash and potty skills, but she's catching on quickly (and faithfully uses training pads). She's whip-smart, sassy, and hilarious. She doesn't love her crate yet, but she is getting used to it. She is great at car rides, and has charmed her way into the hearts of everyone she's met so far. She has also tolerated nail trims with a plomb, seeming not to notice that they're happening. She's working on her comfort level with, and understanding of, the dog door.

Colby Jack has never met a treat or toy she didn't like, approaching all situations with enthusiasm and curiosity. She has met a cat, she seems to respect them. She has interest, and wanted to play, though this also means she is likely to chase a cat that runs, with no ill will, and all fun. A dog savvy cat may be best for her. She has done well with children she has met in passing and during meetings. She is a mover and has no awareness of her own body in relation to others. Her exuberance and quick movements might overwhelm young kids under eight. Her owners will never be lonely, though, as she keeps her golden eyes and her loyal presence on her people at all times.
