Bruiser is an old soul — you can see it in his eyes. Handsome, sweet-natured, and calm in a way that just puts you at ease, he is the kind of dog who makes every room feel a little warmer. If you let him, he'd happily be your lap dog for the rest of his life.

He has taken to training like a champ. Sit, down, heel, and bed — he picked them all up quickly and is eager to keep learning. He has had zero accidents in the home, and he can hold it together when left alone too (only tried up to 3 hours). He has done well home without a kennel for up to three hours, and he does not bark in the yard. At restaurants, Home Depot, or wherever the day takes you, Bruiser simply lays down and relaxes when you stop — a true gentleman on the go.

He is friendly to the people he meets and has no issue with cats. When it comes to other dogs, he gets along well in most situations. He can be selective with dominant male dogs, but he handles it maturely — no charging, no attacking, just a calm signal that he'd prefer a little space. A home with a female dog or a laid-back male would be a great fit.

At night, all you have to do is say "night night" and Bruiser heads right to his bed. He sleeps through without a fuss — because even good boys need their rest.
