BG may be a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you (and your pups!), his personality truly shines. He’s a wonderfully affectionate dog who loves lounging by your side just as much as he enjoys romping around with canine companions of all sizes.

One of BG’s best buddies is Comet, a 14-week-old puppy with boundless energy—and BG is endlessly patient and playful with him! Whether he’s keeping up with a puppy or relaxing on the couch, BG adjusts beautifully to the moment. He’s the perfect mix of mellow and playful.

Leash walks with BG are a dream—he walks calmly without pulling, unless he spots a critter he’s curious about. Car rides are still a work in progress, but he’s made great strides and now hops in and out with just a little encouragement. He’s also fully crate-trained and impressively calm while crated, even with people or other dogs nearby. No barking, no whining—just quiet relaxation.

We’re currently working on crate commands, and he’s picking them up quickly. BG is also a super chewer, so he’ll need durable toys (antlers are his favorite!). Best of all, he’s incredibly gentle and not at all possessive—he happily shares food, toys, and his space with his buddy Comet.
