Alphie has settled nicely into foster care and has proven to be a sweet, affectionate companion. He enjoys hanging out in the yard, relaxing nearby while his people work, and following them from room to room. His foster mom describes him as a very loyal little buddy who has become her “work partner” and shadow.

He gets along with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends, though he can sometimes play a little enthusiastically and may do best with dogs that are confident and enjoy rough-and-tumble play. Alphie is also learning household manners and has made great progress adjusting to life in a home.

Alphie is curious, smart, and loves being involved in the action. He’s especially interested in outdoor adventures and would love a family that enjoys spending time together.
