Meet Alphie 🐾 Hi! My name is Alphie, and I’m a sweet, smart boy looking for a family who will give me the love, structure, and adventure I’m ready for. One of the first things you’ll notice about me is that I love to learn. I’m naturally curious, and I really enjoy activities that make me use my brain. Puzzle toys are one of my favorite things! Give me something to figure out, and I’m happy to put my mind to work. I would love a family that wants to continue training with me and teach me new skills. Training isn’t just work for me, it’s a great way for us to bond. I’m also an active boy, so I’m not looking for a life where my biggest adventure is walking from the couch to my food bowl. I’d love regular walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, training sessions, and plenty of enrichment to keep both my body and brain busy. I do have a high prey drive, so my future family will need to be mindful of that and willing to continue working with me on things like focus, impulse control, and appropriate outlets for my energy. Because of my needs, I do best as the only dog in the home. I’m looking for a family where I can be your one-and-only canine companion and get all the attention, training, and love I deserve. The good news? I already have some very important life skills under my belt! I’m potty trained and crate trained, which makes settling into a routine with me a whole lot easier. I actually do really well when I know what’s expected of me, so consistency and structure will help me thrive. My ideal family is active, patient, and excited about training. I’m not looking for someone who expects a “finished” dog who never needs guidance. I’m looking for someone who sees how much potential I have and thinks it would be fun to help me become the very best version of myself.
