Gio is a big, beautiful pup with a goofy streak, a heart of gold, and a protective side that just needs a little guidance. He’s smart, loving, and hilarious once he trusts you, but he needs time and patience when meeting new people, especially men.

Once you’ve earned his trust (and it’s not hard with treats!), Gio will be your ride-or-die. He loves cuddles, hanging out nearby, and being part of whatever you’re doing—even if it’s just watching TV or watering the garden (spoiler: the hose will become his new toy). He plays well with other dogs, avoids conflict, and is surprisingly cat-like—think stealthy countersurfing and silent squirrel observation.

He’s a strong pup with some puppy habits still in progress—he’s learning leash manners, working on jumping boundaries (literally—he can scale a 4–5ft fence!), and is still navigating how to meet new people. Gio thrives with structure, clear boundaries, and a confident handler who can continue helping him build trust and security.

While Gio is dog- and kid-friendly, he would do best in a home that understands fear-based reactivity and can help him feel safe meeting visitors. He’s muzzle trained (and actually finds comfort in it), and truly just wants to protect the people he loves.
